CARRY NATION 
HOME

The Carrie Nation Home in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, was a home of temperance movement leader Caroline Amelia Nation. It is one of two houses listed as Carry A. Nation House on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. She was often referred to as Carrie, Carry Nation, Carrie A. Nation, or Hatchet Granny, she was an American who was a radical member of the temperance movement, which opposed alcohol before the advent of Prohibition.
